Change the Way You Talk to God
Early in my widowhood, as I prayed with my son and daughter about a possible move, I ended the prayer with "Thank you, God, that you'll show us what to do."
As I stood up, my then twelve-year-old daughter, Holly, said, "Mom, you didn't say 'Amen.'"

Thanks so much for this wonderful article, I just read it now but I will need to keep reading it again for its profound and encouraging meanings. Thanks again

A very thought provoking and meaningful article. Too often we tend to pray and give God an hour to answer. However, His Word tells us "To pray without ceasing." We must always remember He is in control and everything is in His time and not ours. (I could find only 8 secrets and not 9 so what am I missing?)

Really enjoy your article. It change my way of think about pray.

There is no special way or form of prayer. If it works for you standing, kneeling or bending, then so be it. Those who claps their hands and close their eyes do so to concentrate. While it is convininent for some to pray with a very loud noise around some would need absolute quite. In any case, God is Spirit and we are supposed to worship in spirit? Thanks for the article. I truly know that this article is an answerd prayer. I just got off my knees admitting to GOD that I was afraid to pray. I really felt as if I didn't know how to pray or what to say to GOD when it came to prayer.
