It's hard to comment on this article. I don't remember a grieving period or a period of depression after my abortions. Yes, I have had more than one. The painful part for me was that due to immaturity, I actually had to deliver a dead baby in my first abortion. And because that baby was a boy, for a very long time I decided that God would not give me another son because I killed the first one. I have since learned that God doesn't operate that way. My second abortion was easier to deal with, if that's a possible concept. And while I agree that women should have counseling prior to and post-abortion, I still support their right to make that choice. If I had it to do again, I would be a mother of four instead of two. I would just rather ensure a safe practice than what occurs in back allies. It's a hard line to walk, being Christian and pro-choice. Thank you for the opportunity to share.
