A few years ago, while I was visiting my parents, I decided I needed a haircut. So I went to the shop where my mom goes to get her hair done. As Jim, the owner, trimmed my hair, we started talking about spiritual things. The more we talked, the more intrigued Jim became, and the more of my hair he cut. I ended up with very short hair, but our conversation about what I believed about Jesus Christ was ...

My husband and I met a lonely women on the bus, during the Olympics. She was traveling in our direction and told of how her husband had just died. I handed her my business card and said, "York, when you feel like it, please call us and come for tea. Eventually she called and stayed quite a while as we bonded. Then on Easter Sunday morning, she rang and asked if she could come to church with us. In our little Anglican church she loved the choir and asked to join. Now York, who is a Zen Buddhist is part of our choir. I have recently moved and will be a neighbour to her. I am praying that I might led her to Jesus! Yes, the harvest is over ripe around us! An excellent article@

I believe Jesus meant us to be like him by following his teachings, and the greatest of these was to love God and others as self. People come to God in their own time, their own way: we all experience God differently. But if we are loving and an example of Christ we bring Jesus and his teachings alive for everyone. A Muslim friend once told me 'I should be the best Muslim I can be to help you be the best Christian you can be- God calls us to it'. Every time we touch another life we change our world- Jesus wanted us to do this with love and peace, to set aside our human ways of competition and fear and violence. If we trust God we can let go of those things, Jesus did when he died for us.

I LOVE THE ARTICLE, IT IS SO LIKE CHRIST , IN MY OPINION. THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE, YOU SEE THE LORD, INTERACTING WITH THOSE THAT WERE UNFAMILIAR WITH THE WORD OF GOD. IF HE BEING THE SON OF GOD, THOUGHT IT IMPORTANT , TO TAKE THE GOOD NEWS TO THOSE THAT WERE UNAWARE OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD, WHO CAN DEPRIVE THOSE THAT DONT KNOW. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK , ITS A PLEASURE , BEYOND MEASURE TO READ ARTICLES LIKE THIS. BE BLESSED

Wonderful article. Many times we say and hear our fellow Christians say the Lord will provide, the Lord will help us. But what are we doing? Thank you for saying it is us who are the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you for saying we can make the difference and reach out. I pray that we will not will not just say to one another: the Lord will provide, (and He will, and He does). Jesus is Lord and we are His body. Jesus said in His Word that in this they will know you are my disciples, that you love one another. Thank for reaching out, and for inviting us to do the same. I thank God for you.

Fantastic article! As a friend who has many other friends of other faiths and religions, or even atheists, I am often told that I should, instead surround myself with Christians. I find, though, that often learning about one's own faith comes when defending my faith to non-believers. And while I haven't quite converted anyone yet, I have defintiely opened their eyes to the fact that Christians come in all shapes and sizes :)
