I'm a mother of five, married for almost a dozen years and recently was diagnosed with stage zero, carcinoma insitu resulting from HPV. While I've been healed by God working through the anointing of a Christian doctor and staff and surgery, I wish that I had known that a vaccine existed or I surely would have taken it had it been available. While I don't believe that you blindly follow doctors or any man for that matter, God does anoint us for the various calls on our lives. Pray, seek God and know that miraculous healing can take place instantaneoulsy, yet healing can also be a process by which we walk with God using spiritual and natural resourses -- doctors, nurses, etc,. -- which will encourage others as they also walk through the healing process. Our lives and everything we go through in it is not just for us. God bless any of you ever diagnosed with this, but know that you are victorious in obtaining yoru complete, paid for healing!!

I appreciate the deliberate decision to mention both sides of this vaccine. However, I do see a bit of biased in it, as well. I've read the previous comments and do see and understand where these women of God come to their conclusions that this vaccine is very beneficial. I do work in the healthcare field, somewhat behind the scene if you will, and I do not agree with the short 5 year clinical trial. I am a mature Christian mother of 2 and I feel the spirit prompting me to whole-heartedly, fully trust in the guidence and instruction of His word. I think that all woman and their precious daughters should fast and take a substancial amount of time to present this decision to the one who decides all. So, you will not be taking the word of a sinful people, but instead, listening to the holy instruction of our Almighty Father. Ask for an answer. Submerse yourself in the counsil of his word and you will know what to do. May God bless all of you wonderful, loving, and precious mothers

I am 19 so i don't receive the vaccine at school but here in Australia it is available under government funding for girls up to the age of 26. While part of the school program here, its by consent only, parents must sign a form first. I am booked in to receive the first dose tomorrow. I am absolutely committed to purity however i won't necessarily know in advance that my future husband has been. Most of my christian friends that i've spoken to have decided it is a good idea to get the vaccine. I really don't think this will make girls more likely to be sexually active. The risk of pregnancy or HIV straight away is likely to loom a lot larger than an increased cancer risk down the track. I think its a little disturbing how young the vaccine has to be given in some places to make sure they're covered before they are sexually active though
