I have been thinking about what goes in my mind lately. While I don't have cable, I rent and own a lot of DVDs; the TV shows seem to contain so much more (than movies do) content that is becoming problematic for me. And explaining to someone why I might avoid a given show isn't easy. My sexuality has also been something I consider to be mostly private. (Between myself and God). So much of our culture -- even some Christians -- are quite blunt and open about theirs. It's a constant challenge to be non-judgemental without compromising the truth of God's principles as He has shown them to me. And I'm not one to promote banning, or to avoid the "real world". On the other hand, the way the entertainment depicts so many singles isn't necessarily real.
