While many women wrote in to explain they'd accessed these sites to better understand what was luring their husbands time and again, it was the other e-mailsfrom Christian women who shared about their own Internet porn addictionthat caught our attention. ...

I find it interesting that one of the ads that was inserted in this article was for the Christian "romance" novels. "Romance for your heart; Stories for your soul." As a matter of fact, it is the banner ad at the bottom of this page as I am typing right now. The promise of fulfilling that which is missing in your life, the longing in your soul, etc. Exactly what women want. This only fuels the fire. Each of the women in this article said that it started out small, "innocently" enough. But it wasn't enough and led to more. God help us.

I'm so glad this is being talked and written about. Go to Dirty Girls Ministry online, there's a forum there for support and encouragement. If you want more resources and support, email me at riseup541@gmail.com. I'm starting a Chicago support group for women struggling. Riseup541 is taken from Mark 5:41, where Jesus raises the girl from the dead, which is what we're all looking for, right?

I've been struggling with porn addiction, masterbation, and online chatting since I was 13years old. I don't know why? I guess I was just lonely and wanted to feel needed by someone I've never had an actual relationship with a man and I'm 23years old. This has taken my childhood and I feel that I cant stop I've tried to submit myself to the word and I always keep failing and going back to it. It's makes feel so ashamed of myself and 1year ago my family found out and didn't understand why? I was doing. Since I was 13 I was just so curious about that stuff since you see it on TV all the time. My sister told me remeber the saying curiousity killed the cat and this will not kill your soul but your relationships with everyone especially your family. They told me if I didn't try to find ways to help myself and if I continued down this path they will ultimately not speak to me until I find help or let them try and help me. I've tried to read the bible and prayer but it hasn't worked. Help!

I am one of these women. I have been addicted to porn and masturbation since the age of 7. I've tried stopping numerous of times. The longest it has lasted was two months. I'm twenty-one years old and married. My husband has tried to help me but its only so much he can do. I have prayed and prayed but I keep going back. I don't want this. Its like a chain or a boomerang factor. I want to live Godly, not in sin.
