What's So Great about Being Single?
I'll admit itthere aredays when if I were to write an article called "Why Being Single Stinks," it would fill volumes. Days when the entire congregation at my church seems made of happy couples and their charming childrenwhile I sit in my pew alone. Or when I receive still another wedding invitation and can't even picture whom I'd ask to accompany me, let alone whom I could someday walk ...

I think this is a great article. It's not any of us women fault we are single! These men are to blame!

This is an excellent article! In the back of our minds, we know that there are many wonderful aspects of being single, but sometimes it is easy to drown them out when life gets tough. God really used this article to remind me that He created me for a great purpose, and marriage is (God willing) only a small part of that. There are so many other things that He wants to bless us with! I am going to pass this article on to several single friends.

Everybody need a companion, so you not suppose to be single
Sexless and Suffering!
Alot of positives in the article and food for thought. However, I must be honest in saying that the comment "...sex isn't always thrilling. Sometimes it's awkward and messy." is not enough to lessen the desires I have, nor is it comforting to me in any way. Actually, the absolute worst part of being single for me is the fact that I do not have anyone to be awkward and messy with! Sex is one of God's greatest gifts, and to those ladies out there that have an abundantly healthy libido I'm sure you know what I mean. I wonder why God gave me these desires, yet I lay alone at night because I refuse to settle for a mediocre relationship or compromise my morals. We all have our crosses to bear, and this is definitely one of mine. For anyone who reads this and if you feel there's no line in the Bible that offers hope to you anymore, and you feel rejected by God, it doesn't mean you are any less of a Christian. You aren't alone. Just do the best you can in this life, & try 2 B thankful.
